R.O. Flyer is a pseudonym that I was actually born into. My parents are children’s musicians and they call themselves The Flyers. Growing up we were “the Flyer family.” Even before The Flyers came into existence my father, called himself R.O. Flyer (Roger Owen). Well, my name is Ry Owen, so I began to call myself R.O. Flyer. I also use this as my stage name in a folk duo of which I am a part (Flyer & Mason). Anyway, that is the story behind the name. My real name is Ry Siggelkow. I am married to the greatest person I have ever known, Marcia, and we have a beautiful baby boy named Owen. We recently moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota from St. Stephen, New Brunswick. I am an M.A. student in theology at the Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota.

Comment by Matt Frise December 5, 2007 @ 8:21 pmIt is one of those huge binoculars, what do you call them? It is in NFLD, but not on a ferry. I’m standing over some lookout point in Gros Morne park.
